Vegatarian Ramen and Pumpkin Barley

PH and I enjoyed our meal very much at Idealite, 2.5 mile Rock Road here the other day ...  So when PH got home, she found an offer on Groupon, whereby one could enjoy a set comprising a vegetarian dry ramen and a drink for RM10.00 onwards. So she bought 3 coupons, and after work, a few of us went to redeem our noodles. We invited Mr. R to join us as well. Another retirement celebration? Lol .... :))

There were 2 choices of drink - pumpkin barley & cold soy
5 of us opted for pumpkin barley .... and it was served warm; and CV opted for cold soy. All of us enjoyed the naturally sweet pumpkin and barley combination. Never thought that barley and pumpkin could go together so well! Yummy!

This is the dry ramen, served with colourful, fresh and crisp vegetables - carrots, cucumber, pumpkin, purple cabbage, lettuce and mushrooms. A tiny jar contained the vinegary sauce - which was sweet and tangy.

Mix everything together .... and tuck in. It was really delicious and all of us enjoyed it. In the menu, it is stated that he dish nourishes the kidney, spleen and heart.

We were given this piece of jelly mooncake for free ....

Matcha pomelo mooncake

Strong taste of green tea and a burst of refreshing pomelo, very refreshing.

After we'd finished all our food and drinks .... and were chit chatting for a seemingly long time, we were served water. What a nice gesture from the staff.

Water

Food here does not burden the body at all. It's so healthy! However, the men found it not filling at all ... lol .... R got hungry only 2 hours later .... and CV ate rice as soon as he got home. Lol. It was alright for me, though .... I could sustain till dinner time.

This is my second visit to this restaurant and I must say that I like it here a lot. Looking forward to coming back soon. :))
